Is a progressive and innovative Association providing a variety of individualized supports to people with intellectual disabilities At this time we are inviting applications for a Senior Support Worker Contract: September 2, 2019 - May 2, 2021 Reporting to the Support Services Manager, the Senior Support Worker is responsible for ensuring quality support is provided to adults in their home and community guided by Individual Support Plans and Community Living Walkerton and District policies and procedures. Administrative responsibilities include building and maintaining positive and productive staff teams, orientation, scheduling, performance management, overseeing financial detail and daily supports and on-call duties. The successful candidate will have: -Obtained post secondary education in a relevant discipline. -Proven advocacy experience with people who have disabilities. -Proven team leadership skills, strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills. -Previous supervisory experience. -Computer knowledge utilizing Word, Outlook and Excel programs. -A valid driver's license.
