General Manager The Walker House in Southampton is actively recruiting for a new General Manager. The Walker House was established in 1915 and for over 100 years it has been Southampton's restaurant. The General Manager duties and responsibilities include: •Overseeing all daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, recruiting and hiring. During peak season the Walker House employs up to 65 team members so strong leadership skills are crucial. •Creating financial forecasting documents and responsible for overall financial planning and strategy •Creating and promoting strategies to improve service and grow business •Responsible for overseeing all building maintenance •Managing the Walker House Website, Facebook page, Trip Advisor and all social media opportunities •Reviewing and proposing community involvement, including participation in local events.
