Vintex is currently seeking a full-time, permanent: Industrial Maintenance Electrician Primary Duties • Working in a team environment • Performing regularly scheduled preventative maintenance • Troubleshooting • Repair of production equipment • Minimize machine downtime • Ensure employee safety is maintained Preferred Skills and Qualifications • A Construction & Maintenance and/or Industrial Electrician’s License • PLC programming (Rockwell/Allen Bradley) • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally in a process-type industry • Experience in layout and installation of EMT and rigid conduit • Solid understanding of motor control circuits and AC drives • Able to read electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic schematics/ drawings • Knowledge of Auto-Cad LT, and MS Office software • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with other skilled trades is essential • Proven experience in the installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and in the areas of PLC’s, pneumatics and hydraulics • Computer literacy including Word, Excel and manufacturing software (i.e. MPII, ERP) • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills • Shares Vintex’s values of Customer Focus, Meaningful Contribution, Integrity, Continuous Improvement and Innovation, and Teamwork Additional Information • Reports to Maintenance Manager • Currently a day shift position • Requires some scheduled on call times • Non-unionized work environment • Clean and air conditioned manufacturing facility • Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits packages including: health and dental coverage, life and disability program, family tuition program, bi-annual profit sharing, company pension plan, full uniform services and boot allowance • Will cover costs of required training courses • Annual trade accreditation fees paid by Company To apply please forward your cover letter and resume to hr@vintex.com.
