HANOVER AND DISTRICT HOSPITAL Part-Time Environmental Services Worker Posting # 002-068 QUALIFICATIONS: •Grade 12 Graduate or equivalent required; •Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required; •Self-motivated; •Ability to work independently and as a team member; •Experience with all aspects of cleaning the physical environment, including operation of cleaning equipment (autoscrubber, buffer, burnisher, steam cleaner and vacuum); •Required to work from ladder and heights; •Ability to push/pull heavy carts; •Some heavy lifting involved (Refuse, Soiled Linen & Biomedical Waste); •Must demonstrate the ability to respond to all codes for which you are trained; •Must be available for scheduled shifts and call-ins; •Good attendance and work record required; •Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization and; •Must support and contribute to a culture that reflects our code of conduct and the values of this organization.
