Project Coordinator, Life Directions Project: An initiative of SEGSS in partnership with Employment and Social Development Canada One year contract position 35 hours per week, $26.00 per hour Start date: 3 January 2017 South-East Grey Support Services is a non-profit community-based agency that supports individuals who have a developmental disability or a dual diagnosis to live, work, and participate in their own communities. Requirements: •BA or diploma in Social Work, Rehabilitation, or a related field •Training and Experience in employment counselling and job development •Experience supporting individuals who are experiencing a barrier to employment •Excellent communication and computer skills are essential •Must have reliable transportation Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •Promote the Life Directions Project through advertising and speaking engagements throughout surrounding communities •Interview and assess candidates to determine eligibility for the project •Develop individual Return to Work Action Plans •Seek out and cultivate employment and placement opportunities •Advocate on behalf of participants and mediate issues arising in the workplace •Manage participant case files •Complete financial and activity reporting •Update community partners regarding the progress of this initiative •Supervise a job developer and/or job coach Please submit your letter of application and resume, by 18 November 2016 , to: Marsha Jackson Director of Human Resources South-East Grey Support Services P.O.
