DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM The Director of Program plans and directs the implementation and regular evaluation of the programs. This position assesses the life enrichment needs of each resident related to their physical, psychological, social, recreational and spiritual needs. Responsibilities - Communicates departmental activities to residents, staff, families and the community to encourage participation in programs - Coordinates the volunteer program for the facility, including recruiting and orientating volunteers - Provides work direction, instruction and guidance to department staff - Assists with programs - Plans and organizes staff education with all departments in the Home including orientation, annual education, in house in-services and participation in external opportunities.
